Making Africa Exhibit Opens at the High Museum of Art Atlanta

The Making Africa: A Continent of Contemporary Design exhibit opened this week in Atlanta, GA.  The exhibit will run through January 2018.

Making Africa:  A Continent of Contemporary Design is an exhibit full of an array of art pieces.  It showcases architecture, graphic arts, furniture design, photography, and more.  The contemporary works of art highlight a new generation of thinkers and artists.  There are more than 120 artist represented in the exhibit from 22 countries.   

The High Museum of Art is the first space in the United States of present Making Africa.  The project is led by Vitra Design Museum Curator Amelie Klien and Director Okwui Enwezor.  The High has also scheduled several events with outside curators and artists during the exhibit's run.  Check out the website for a full listing.
